Commercial Director - Remote Opportunity at CRH

About the Role

We are seeking a Commercial Director to join our team at CRH, a leading provider of construction materials. This remote Commercial Director role offers you the opportunity to lead our commercial strategy and drive growth in an innovative and dynamic environment. You will work closely with a talented team to develop and implement strategies that enhance our market position and customer relationships.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for CRH Structural Concrete, aligning with our long-term business objectives.
• Lead and coach Senior Sales Directors and sales teams to achieve revenue and margin targets.
• Analyze market and product combinations to identify profitable niches and develop new propositions.
• Build strong relationships with project developers and stakeholders to influence design and specifications.
• Manage pricing strategies and ensure accurate sales forecasting and reporting to the Managing Director.
• Collaborate with Operations, Innovation & Sustainability teams to align product development with market needs.
• Foster a proactive, innovative, and customer-focused culture within the organization.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering (Construction or Civil Engineering).
• 8-10 years of experience in senior commercial roles within the construction materials industry.
• Proven track record in value-driven technical sales and influencing decision-makers.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic insight.
• Fluency in Dutch, English, and French.

Nice to Have

• Experience in sustainability initiatives within the construction sector.
• Knowledge of concrete products and the construction market.
