Strategic Finance Manager - Remote Opportunity at TRM Labs

About the Role

Join TRM Labs as a Strategic Finance Manager in a remote capacity, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial trajectory of our innovative blockchain analytics company. As a Strategic Finance Manager remote, you will be instrumental in driving rigorous planning, analysis, and reporting, focusing on supporting our go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution.

What You'll Do

• Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting and reporting rhythms, with deep ownership of GTM forecasts including bookings, ARR, pipeline, and headcount.
• Own budget-vs-actuals updates for GTM functions, identifying variances across sales capacity, marketing spend, and customer acquisition metrics.
• Develop board-ready materials and compelling financial narratives related to growth performance, efficiency, and ROI for executive reviews and company all-hands meetings.
• Support comprehensive top-down and bottoms-up financial planning for 2026 and beyond, including sales capacity modeling, quota planning, and growth scenarios.
• Build models and templates to inform GTM investment decisions, including hiring, target setting, and marketing mix.
• Drive strategic projects including pricing and packaging, sales compensation economics, vendor optimization, and ROI analysis.
• Assist with investor reporting and fundraising, articulating TRM’s GTM strategy, unit economics, and path to efficient scale.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience across investment banking, investing, consulting, or finance at a high-growth tech company.
• Experience supporting revenue-driving or customer-facing teams (Sales, Marketing, RevOps, or CS) strongly preferred.
• Expert-level Excel and Google Sheets modeling skills.
• Clarity and polish in writing and presentations.
• Experience with planning cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Comfort with working independently and proactively driving outcomes.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration preferred; MBA a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the blockchain or cryptocurrency sector.
• Familiarity with financial modeling software.
• Previous experience in a startup environment.
