Development Technician - Cement-Based Solutions

About the Role

What You'll Do

• Develop and test cementitious powder materials, including repair mortars and grouts.
• Lead or support new product development projects, ensuring innovation and technical performance.
• Formulate and optimize products through laboratory trials and performance testing.
• Explore alternative raw materials and technologies to improve efficiency and sustainability.
• Support the transition from lab-scale prototypes to commercial production.
• Perform cost-benefit evaluations to assess product viability.
• Maintain accurate test records, conduct data analysis, and prepare technical reports.
• Track and report project progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to CE marking and ISO documentation such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of laboratory experience working with cementitious materials.
• Knowledge of optimization of cement-based building materials, including durability, mechanical properties, and sustainability.
• Solid experience with documentation, testing, and product development processes.
• Strong communication skills in both technical and cross-functional settings.
• Fluency in a Nordic language (spoken and written) and English (spoken and written) is required.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the Nordics/Europe.
