Associate, Contract Management II - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Associate, Contract Management II to join our dynamic team at Factor. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while supporting our clients in drafting and negotiating IT and privacy-related contracts. As an Associate, Contract Management II, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' contract management processes and ensuring compliance with legal standards.

What You'll Do

• Draft and negotiate a wide range of IT contracts, including software development agreements, licensing contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Provide administrative support to the IT Contracting team, ensuring efficient handling of contracting requests.
• Manage data input and updates on Factor and client systems, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in producing regular and ad hoc reports for both Factor and clients.
• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve service delivery and add value to client relationships.

Requirements

• Law Degree and/or legally qualified to practice.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, ideally in IT.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word.
• Ability to simplify complex legal concepts for non-legal stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with IT vendors or cloud service providers.
• Familiarity with privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Experience in supporting IT procurement or contracting teams.
