Senior IT Support Technician - Microsoft Technologies (Remote)
About the Role
Are you ready to take your IT career to the next level? We are hiring a Senior IT Support Technician - Microsoft Technologies Remote to join our dynamic team. This position allows you to work remotely from Honduras while supporting a US-based client. You'll work with advanced Microsoft technologies, support multiple clients, and collaborate with a cutting-edge IT team—all from your home office!
What You’ll Do
- Provide advanced technical support for Microsoft Office 365, Windows Servers, desktops, and related technologies.
- Troubleshoot escalated network issues: WAN/LAN, firewalls, VPNs, and virtualization platforms.
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Azure AD, Office 365, SharePoint, Intune, and Teams.
- Administer virtual environments (Hyper-V, VMware) and cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS).
- Lead IT projects: server migrations, hardware builds, and cloud service integrations.
- Mentor Level 1 & 2 technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Maintain documentation, training materials, and accurate time entries in ConnectWise Manage.
- Participate in on-call rotations and occasional onsite support if required.
Requirements
- 4–6+ years of IT support experience, preferably in an MSP environment.
- Expert in Microsoft technologies: Office 365, Windows Server, Azure AD, Intune.
- Skilled in virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) and RMM/PSA tools (ConnectWise, Automate).
- Strong networking knowledge: firewalls, routers, VPNs, VLANs, and security protocols.
- Scripting skills: PowerShell, VBS, Batch; familiarity with automation tools.
- Experience with backup/disaster recovery and unified communications (Teams, RingCentral, 8x8, Mitel).
- Cloud administration experience (Azure/AWS – HaaS and SaaS).
- English – B2 level or higher (written and spoken).
