What You'll Do

• Lead the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1, and other required disclosures.
• Implement DFIN, Workiva, or similar platforms to streamline financial reporting processes and ensure consistency across all filings.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial disclosures, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Develop and maintain audit-ready workpapers for all external financial reporting activities.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance reporting accuracy and automate routine processes.
• Support accounting conclusions by researching and interpreting accounting guidance.
• Mentor and educate teams on public company standards and compliance expectations.
• Continuously improve reporting tools and processes to support scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1 year in SEC filings.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Experience working with public companies or preparing for public company readiness.
• Proficiency with DFIN, Workiva, or similar SEC reporting platforms.
• Excellent communication skills for drafting financial disclosures.
• Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
