Junior FP&A Analyst - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We’re hiring a Junior FP&A Analyst to join our growing team at Photoroom. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while contributing to our financial planning and analysis efforts. As a Junior FP&A Analyst, you will support financial reporting and business analysis, helping to shape the future of our company.

What You'll Do

• Own monthly reporting (P&L, cost centers, variances) and deliver insights that facilitate decision-making.
• Collaborate with team leads across Marketing, Sales, Product, Engineering, and G&A to help them understand their budgets and make informed trade-offs.
• Transform raw data into actionable insights by pulling data from our warehouse and building clean models in Sheets.
• Shape forecasts and build scenarios that inform hiring, spending, and priorities, feeding into our planning cycles.
• Streamline finance operations by simplifying processes, automating recurring tasks, and enhancing documentation.

Requirements

• At least one year of professional experience in finance or analytics (internships included).
• Familiarity with basic analytics, P&L, cost drivers, and key metrics.
• Strong numerical background with proficiency in spreadsheets; SQL experience is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a small team and contribute to leadership discussions.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
• Interest in learning SQL if not already proficient.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
