About the Role
We are seeking a Prime Sales & Trading Manager remote to lead Bitso’s newly integrated Prime Sales Team. This role is pivotal in driving revenue and managing high-value relationships with HNWI/UHNWI and institutional clients. As a Prime Sales & Trading Manager remote, you will oversee the end-to-end trading and settlement lifecycle, ensuring a bespoke, "white-glove" experience that mirrors top-tier Private Banking while navigating the operational complexities of crypto settlements.
What You'll Do
- Lead the integrated Prime Sales & Trading and OTC functions, balancing your own sales targets with team management.
- Mentor and support the current team, providing guidance on complex deal structuring, negotiation, and market analysis.
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of trades, managing the critical differences between execution and final settlement.
- Actively monitor and manage operational risks associated with counterparties holding funds.
- Drive the full client lifecycle for your own book of HNWI, UHNWI, and Family Offices, from prospecting to closing and onboarding.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools like HubSpot.
- Collaborate with KYC, Legal, and Operations to streamline the onboarding experience.
- Track KPIs regarding net revenue and recurring customers for both your personal portfolio and the wider team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7+ years in Crypto/Digital Assets Sales & Trading, Private Banking, or Prime Brokerage.
- 2+ years of experience in a team lead or managerial capacity.
- Deep technical knowledge of the trading lifecycle, including OTC trading mechanics.
- Proven success in acquiring and managing HNWI portfolios.
- Strong organizational skills to manage personal sales pipeline and team performance.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- High-ownership attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex financial concepts.
Nice to Have
- Experience with crypto assets and a background in wealth management.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks in crypto.
- Experience in mentoring junior traders.
