Occupational Therapist - Remote Position at TMC

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join TMC as a remote team member. As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will play a vital role in enhancing the functional abilities of individuals, ensuring they can engage in everyday activities. This Occupational Therapist remote position offers the chance to make a significant impact in the lives of patients while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' functional status, strengths, and limitations.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient preferences.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to enhance patients' independence and quality of life.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapeutic processes and adaptive strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care plans for patients.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current license/certification in the state of practice.
• Experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for helping others and a commitment to professional growth.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cognitive rehabilitation and sensory integration.
• Familiarity with assistive devices and adaptive strategies.
• Previous experience in a long-term care setting.
