About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist - Remote to join Bath College, a vibrant educational institution located in Bath, England. This role is pivotal in providing an effective and professional reception service, ensuring that all visitors receive exceptional customer service. As a remote receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for students and visitors, making a positive impact on their experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide a comprehensive reception service, greeting enquirers and responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Maintain security and safeguarding protocols by ensuring all visitors sign in and notifying appropriate staff members.
• Proactively manage a system of accurate information to assist customers effectively.
• Keep the reception area attractive and welcoming to enhance the visitor experience.
• Accurately record lost property in accordance with college policy.
• Provide detailed information on courses, fees, funding, payment options, and timetables.
• Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive environment for all students and staff.

Requirements

• English and Maths grade C and above.
• Experience in a customer service role, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of individuals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using office software and communication tools.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
• Knowledge of college policies and procedures.
• Experience with visitor management systems.
