Resource Manager - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Resource Manager to oversee and optimize resource management processes in a remote setting. This Resource Manager role is crucial for ensuring the efficient deployment of our workforce and will serve as a vital link across various teams with diverse technical expertise.

What You'll Do

• Manage staffing and resourcing for customer engagements to ensure project success.
• Develop, implement, and manage resource management tools and processes to meet business demands effectively.
• Allocate personnel to projects based on commercial contracts and agreed delivery schedules, balancing client needs with employee development.
• Collaborate closely with sales, presales, practice leads, and project managers to forecast demand and manage resource allocation.
• Forecast and report resource capacity, including bench, hiring, and project roll-off.
• Maintain visibility of current and upcoming projects to anticipate resource needs.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance resource efficiency.
• Support practices that maximize team productivity, including regular reporting and analysis.
• Innovate across business operations to create and scale a Resource Management model focused on automation and AI adoption.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5 years+) in resource management within a technology services environment.
• Experience managing teams of over 100 resources.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in resource planning best practices and tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Agility to adapt to shifting demands and priorities.
• Strong understanding of success metrics and delivery operations.
• Familiarity with technologies, particularly in Cloud, Data, and Software engineering.
