Senior Accountant - Remote Opportunity at Hasbro

About the Role

Join Hasbro as a Senior Accountant and be part of a team that creates joy and community through the magic of play. This Senior Accountant remote position is integral to our Accounting Organization, supporting the Manager of Accounting and contributing to the monthly global financial close process. You will specialize in journal entries, account reconciliations, and analyses with efficiency and accuracy.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations in line with Blackline deadlines.
• Ensure reconciliations are high quality with sufficient supporting documentation and investigate all reconciling items in a timely manner.
• Communicate potential risks or opportunities to management effectively.
• Participate in regular meetings with Finance and business partners to discuss operational issues, aged balances, and internal control updates.
• Document action points and follow up on them diligently.
• Work proactively with team members to find opportunities for improvement.
• Perform analysis and special projects as required.
• Build relationships with operational leaders to provide timely assistance on accounting matters.

Requirements

• BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance or a related field; ACA and ACCA designations preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in public company or public accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with GAAP.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability to dynamic situations.
• Experience with SAP and/or Blackline is preferred.
