Head of Soft Covering Process Standardization and Automation - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Soft Covering Process Standardization and Automation to join our team. This remote role focuses on enhancing operational performance across our plants by standardizing and automating soft covering processes. You will be responsible for driving efficiency, cost optimization, and product quality.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement best practices for soft covering processes across all plants.
• Identify and drive cycle time reduction and process automation initiatives.
• Optimize material utilization to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Conduct benchmarking and implement new technologies to enhance process capability.
• Define and maintain plant-wise capacity planning for soft covering operations.
• Collaborate with design, R&D, and suppliers to select optimal raw materials.
• Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives, including automation and lean projects.
• Drive robotic automation and smart manufacturing initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum Qualification: BE / B.Tech (Full-time)
• Preferred Qualification: ME / M.Tech / MBA
• 12-15 years of experience in soft covering processes, process standardization, and automation.
• Expertise in capacity planning, material selection, and process engineering.
• Experience in automation, robotics, and digital transformation in manufacturing.

Nice to Have

• Strong knowledge of OEE, OPE, lean principles, and cost optimization techniques.
• Process know-how in soft covering for door, instrumental panel, console, and armrest.
