Senior Linux Account Executive - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Senior Linux Account Executive to join our dynamic team at CIQ. This remote position is perfect for someone passionate about technology and eager to make a significant impact in the software infrastructure space. As a key player in our sales team, you will manage and nurture client relationships while promoting our cutting-edge Linux and HPC solutions.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
• Sell CIQ’s enterprise HPC and Linux products to enterprise customers, driving sales and engagement.
• Identify new business opportunities and market openings to expand CIQ’s client base.
• Monitor industry trends and competitors to strategize and implement effective sales strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful solution implementation.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals with new clients.
• Negotiate agreements and contracts with potential clients to secure business.
• Communicate effectively with clients to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction with CIQ’s offerings.

Requirements

• 6 to 8 years of proven experience as an account executive, account manager, or in a related sales role.
• Strong understanding of the EMEA market and the open-source ecosystem.
• Experience with Linux-based products or within the Linux industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in CRM and sales software tools.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and negotiation skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
