Mid-Level React Native Developer - Sports Tech

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mid-Level React Native Developer to join our dynamic team in the sports tech industry. This is a fully remote position where you will work on innovative projects that enhance user engagement in the sports prediction space. As a React Native Developer, you will play a crucial role in building a social, interactive layer on top of our existing application, making it fun and rewarding for sports fans.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain high-performance React Native applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Work with bare React Native projects and integrate native modules using JSI & Bridge.
• Debug across native and JS layers to ensure seamless performance.
• Build reusable and responsive mobile UI components that enhance user experience.
• Implement push notifications, in-app purchases, and OAuth 2.0 authentication for secure user interactions.
• Configure and manage iOS and Android environments using Xcode and Android Studio.
• Handle app signing and deployments via TestFlight and Google Internal Release.
• Optimize performance and resolve bottlenecks in both JS and native code.
• Manage application state using Redux and Context API.
• Collaborate with QA teams to diagnose and resolve production issues.
• Contribute to a high-quality, scalable, and maintainable mobile codebase.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in mobile development, with a strong focus on React Native.
• Deep knowledge of native module integration (JSI, Bridge).
• Advanced understanding of React concepts including hooks, class components, and navigation.
• Experience with Xcode and Android Studio.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English (B2 level or higher).

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and Redux.
• Previous experience in the sports tech industry.
