About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Video Editor to join our team remotely. This role is focused on post-producing our flagship Prepared Hero Digital Academy, a comprehensive 12-module emergency preparedness education series featuring expert firefighters and safety authorities. As a Freelance Video Editor - Remote, you will play a crucial role in delivering approximately 120 minutes of high-quality educational content aimed at enhancing family safety.

What You'll Do

• Post-produce educational video content with a focus on emergency preparedness.
• Maintain consistent branding and high production values throughout all videos.
• Work on a flat-fee basis with a timeline of 4-6 weeks for project completion.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team and industry experts to ensure content accuracy and impact.
• Utilize creative storytelling abilities to engage viewers effectively.

Requirements

• Proven video editing experience with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail in branding and knowledge of educational content production.
• Familiarity with safety and emergency preparedness topics is preferred.
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
