Quality Assurance Specialist - Textile Industry (Remote)

About the Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Quality Assurance Specialist in the textile industry. This remote role allows you to contribute to the quality and creativity at Sézane, a leading French fashion brand. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the development phase by analyzing and validating materials in collaboration with the design team, product managers, and suppliers.
• Identify risks associated with materials and evaluate the model/material fit, proposing necessary technical improvements.
• Organize quality risk reviews and monitor model progress, especially for high-stakes products.
• Anticipate quality risks before production and implement appropriate testing procedures.
• Analyze prototypes and suggest corrective actions when necessary.
• Validate prototypes to ensure compliance with Sézane's quality standards.
• Adapt and schedule inspection plans based on supplier capabilities.
• Manage quality alerts in coordination with production and technical teams, ensuring timely corrective actions.

Requirements

• A degree in textile engineering or equivalent.
• Strong technical knowledge of materials, particularly knitwear.
• Proven experience in ready-to-wear or quality assurance.
• Fluency in English in a professional context.

Nice to Have

• Experience with quality control in a fashion environment.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in textile production.
• Familiarity with international quality standards.
