Working Student R&D - Beauty Technology Development

About the Role

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Working Student R&D (remote) position at Wella Company. As a leading beauty company, Wella is committed to innovation in the hair and nail industry. This role is perfect for students looking to gain hands-on experience in research and development while working with a dynamic team. You will be part of the Hair Care & Styling technology development team, focusing on shampoo and conditioner product platforms.

What You'll Do

• Be involved in formulation experiments, stability studies, and product lab tests for hair care products.
• Prepare laboratory batches and conduct characterization measurements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to consolidate existing knowledge in product development.
• Support the development and qualification of prototypes for new beauty products.
• Engage in safety, sustainability, and quality assurance practices throughout the R&D process.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in chemistry, cosmetic sciences, or a related discipline.
• Background in cosmetic product development or experience in a regulated cosmetic environment is a plus.
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude and a passion for beauty trends.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• A valid certificate of enrollment for the entire period of employment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with formulation experiments and product testing.
• Familiarity with characterization methods such as viscosity measurements.
• Interest in beauty industry trends and consumer preferences.
