About the Role

We are seeking a Senior SAP Finance Expert - Remote to join our dynamic team. What You'll Do

• Lead the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA solutions in finance, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance finance processes and drive transformation initiatives.
• Utilize your knowledge in FI/CO, TR, and MM modules to optimize financial operations.
• Engage in change management activities to facilitate smooth transitions during project rollouts.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Analyze data using tools such as Python, SQL, and Apache Iceberg to derive actionable insights for finance strategies.
• Support the integration of cloud technologies like AWS and Microsoft Azure into finance operations.
• Drive innovation in finance transformation projects, focusing on automation and RPA solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SAP finance roles, with a strong focus on S/4 HANA.
• Proven track record in finance transformation and implementation projects.
• Deep understanding of finance modules including FI/CO, TR, and MM.
• Experience with data engineering and analytics tools, particularly Python and SQL.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in investment banking, private equity, or capital markets.
• Knowledge of renewable energy finance and grid-scale storage solutions.
• Familiarity with Java, Golang, or JavaScript for finance applications.
