Fiber Operator - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Fiber Operator to join our growing team at Beaulieu International Group. This Fiber Operator remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while contributing to various sectors, including automotive, geotextiles, and healthcare.

What You'll Do

• Set up the fiber line according to production specifications.
• Clean presses upon request from the assistant team leader or team leader.
• Maintain an orderly and clean workspace between and behind the fiber lines.
• Install and remove nozzles during machine conversions and transport them to the nozzle workshop for quick reusability.
• Record delays and downtime in the MES system.
• Perform and report quality checks (color, crimping, cut length, melting points, etc.).
• Conduct preventive maintenance according to prescribed guidelines.
• Sort and dispose of waste to minimize environmental impact.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to consult effectively with team leaders.
• Proficient in computer operations.
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order.
• Adherence to safety regulations.
• Fluency in Dutch and French, both spoken and written.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of fiber production processes.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
