Senior Mental Health Clinician - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our dedicated team at Eastern Health. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to mental health services for infants, children, and youth aged 0-25 years. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to young individuals and their families.

What You'll Do

• Manage and prioritize referrals for the ICYMHS community and specialist teams.
• Conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments of young people presenting with acute and/or complex mental health concerns.
• Provide short-term interventions, including Family Therapy, to young people and their families.
• Offer primary and secondary consultations to other service providers.
• Supervise and support junior clinicians within the Access Team.

Requirements

• Current Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse registration with AHPRA; for Social Work, eligibility for membership of AASW.
• At least five years of clinical experience working with children or young people.
• A strong commitment to high-quality care.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• The ability to work as part of a diverse team.
