About the Role
We are seeking a talented Risk Developer to join our dynamic team at ExodusPoint. This Risk Developer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading multi-strategy investment firm. You will play a crucial role in developing scalable solutions for risk calculations while collaborating closely with business counterparts in both Fixed Income and Equities.
What You'll Do
- Develop scalable and high-performance solutions for low-latency risk calculations.
- Liaise with risk managers to gather and understand business requirements.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled developers to support risk systems and participate in the End of Day support cycle.
- Implement best practices to ensure a robust risk tech framework.
- Utilize your expertise in data structures and algorithms to enhance system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in multi-threading, client-server, and distributed computing.
- Good understanding of various design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
Nice to Have
- Mathematical skills with an interest in quantitative finance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exposure to AWS/cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with Python, Pandas, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices frameworks.
- Experience with AI/ML and service-oriented architecture.
- Understanding of CI/CD, unit, and integration testing.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Knowledge of finance and pricing of basic instruments.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
