We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer - Node.js Remote to join our dynamic team at Motorola Solutions. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining software solutions that enhance safety and security across various sectors. You will leverage your expertise in Node.js and collaborate with a talented team to build scalable systems that impact communities globally.

What You'll Do

• Analyze, design, and develop software for our innovative products and systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Integrate software with hardware systems to maintain program consistency and throughput.
• Develop, validate, and test user documentation and software structures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect robust and scalable systems capable of processing millions of alarms.
• Utilize your advanced knowledge of Node.js to build high-load services and microservices.
• Engage in code reviews and maintain high coding standards through an active GitHub profile or equivalent portfolio.
• Provide insights and intelligence from camera systems to enhance customer experience.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of our cloud-based platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our global clientele.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a software engineer with a strong focus on Node.js.
• Proficiency in Vue.js or React, with experience in React Native being a plus.
• Deep understanding of microservice architecture and relational databases.
• Strong experience in developing high-load services.
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment and manage asynchronous communication.
• Excitement about building resilient systems that serve a global community.
• Comfortable with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Demonstrated team player skills and a drive for observability in system performance.

Nice to Have

• Experience with machine learning, natural language processing, or computer vision technologies.
• Familiarity with video analytics and security solutions.
