Senior Executive - Financial & Administrative Support (Remote)
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Executive to provide comprehensive financial and administrative support to the NUS Centre for Additive Manufacturing. This Senior Executive (remote) position will ensure effective research fund management, policy compliance, and smooth day-to-day operations that support the Centre's multidisciplinary research and strategic objectives.
What You'll Do
- Ensure effective day-to-day financial and administrative operations.
- Manage and oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and grant/project financial management in compliance with institutional policies.
- Handle procurement, vendor payments, and serve as Delegation of Authority for claims, invoices, and expenditures.
- Coordinate HR administrative functions, including staffing plans, contracts, recruitment support, and leave tracking.
- Act as the primary liaison and key contact for finance, HR, procurement, and other administrative units.
- Provide financial and administrative advisory support, including budget estimates, cash flow projections, and variance reporting to funders.
- Undertake additional administrative and secretariat duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- University degree in Accountancy, Business, or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of finance/procurement experience.
- Meticulous with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and organizational skills.
- Strong team leader who is highly motivated and able to collaborate within and across teams.
- Able to problem-solve and work within tight deadlines.
