About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to provide high-level technical expertise across complex superannuation insurance queries. This Senior Business Analyst remote position will require you to deep-dive into product rules, data issues, and processes to ensure consistent, accurate outcomes for our clients. You’ll also support product enhancements, system changes, and insurance-related migrations while contributing to a strong culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex queries in line with fund rules and SLAs.
  • Lead or support insurance-related product development, enhancements, and transitions.
  • Identify, prevent, and resolve complex data and product issues, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with IT, auditors, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
  • Contribute to insurance-related functional specifications, testing, and quality assurance activities.
  • Drive process improvements aligned with the Quality Framework and promote risk awareness.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to peers to help achieve team objectives.
  • Build strong relationships across teams and business units to support client and organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of superannuation products and administration processes.
  • Proven experience in business analysis, with the ability to interpret complex technical and business requirements.
  • Ability to lead a small team of Business Analysts.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk-management capabilities.
  • High attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, or a related discipline.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the superannuation sector.
