About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Associate, FP&A to join our dynamic team at Permira. This Senior Associate, FP&A remote position offers an exciting opportunity to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for our firm, collaborating closely with the Private Equity business and central functions stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with the Private Equity Teams to analyze and report P&L performance (revenue, expenses, profitability), delivering insights and recommendations.
  • Coordinate reporting timetables and stakeholder communications with Group Accounting and central teams to ensure deadlines are met accurately and on time.
  • Lead or co-lead budgeting and forecasting across key expense categories; gather inputs, analyze trends, and produce robust, well-supported forecasts.
  • Contribute to the five-year plan process including consolidation, scenario modeling, and stakeholder review.
  • Build and maintain Excel-based financial models; conduct scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Use OneStream (or equivalent EPM tools) for reporting and analysis; identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, automation, and efficiency.
  • May manage and develop one direct report, ensuring quality deliverables, clear prioritization, and professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong FP&A fundamentals (forecasting, budgeting, performance analysis) and high attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel modeling capability.
  • Experience with OneStream or another EPM solution preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Leverages automation/AI tools responsibly to improve FP&A processes.

Nice to Have

  • 8–12 years total experience, including 3–6 years in FP&A; audit experience advantageous.
