Senior Architectural Designer - Data Centers (Remote)

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Architectural Designer to join our team remotely at AECOM. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in designing and delivering colocation and hyperscale cloud data center facilities, contributing to high-performance and scalable environments.

What You'll Do

• Support architectural design for large scale hyperscale cloud data center and colocation projects.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines and external stakeholders.
• Develop and review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Assist in coordination with consultants and contractors.
• Serve as an architectural subject matter expert for clients.
• Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and design trends.
• Assist with business development and proposal writing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 6+ years of professional architectural experience.
• Experience with large scale data center design.
• Familiarity with BIM ACC (Revit) and AutoCAD.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and mission critical infrastructure standards.
• Experience in global project environments.
• Ability to work with permitting authorities.
