Safety Specialist - Fire Protection (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Safety Specialist - Fire Protection (Remote) to join our team at CEMEX, a leading global producer of construction solutions. In this role, you will organize and implement preventive fire protection measures, monitor and maintain fire extinguishing systems, and lead safety initiatives. What You'll Do

• Organize and conduct fire safety training for employees.
• Maintain records of fire safety equipment and systems.
• Support management in applying legal and internal safety requirements.
• Participate in safety initiatives and equipment testing.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans.
• Promote safe practices and reduce workplace accidents.
• Provide assistance in preparing injury reports and local safety plans.
• Facilitate training sessions for safe work practices.

Requirements

• Technical high school diploma (preferably higher education in a related field).
• 3 years of experience in the construction industry or quality control.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and English language.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Familiarity with concrete and aggregate technology is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience in implementing safety programs.
• Certifications in fire safety or risk management.
• Knowledge of local and international safety regulations.
