Remote Legal Counsel - Corporate Law Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team. As a Remote Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support in various areas including corporate law, contract negotiation, and compliance. This role offers the opportunity to work with an international team, handling cross-border legal considerations and engaging with C-suite executives.

What You'll Do

• Provide legal guidance on corporate governance and compliance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support business development initiatives.
• Engage with clients to provide tailored legal solutions and advice.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance across various jurisdictions.
• Assist in equity fundraising and investor diligence processes.
• Support the development of legal training materials and resources.
• Stay updated on legal trends and changes in regulations affecting the business.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 3-5 years of experience as a legal counsel, preferably in corporate or commercial law.
• Strong understanding of contract law and legal compliance.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in cross-border legal issues is a plus.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
