Economic Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Economic Specialist to join the ALTEO Group in a remote capacity. This role is crucial for our team as we continue to grow and innovate in the economic sector. As an Economic Specialist, you will play a key role in managing accounting processes across multiple companies, supporting the accounting director with professional topics, and preparing economic and accounting decisions.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the accounting processes for several companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support the accounting director in preparing economic and accounting decisions.
• Interpret contracts and agreements from an accounting perspective, including intercompany, loan, guarantee, and banking contracts.
• Prepare accounting and tax calculations for investment and other projects, including preliminary analyses and financial impact assessments.
• Organize and develop accounting processes in response to economic events, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Several years of relevant experience in controlling, accounting, auditing, or financial analysis.
• Strong educational background in finance or accounting, with qualifications such as ACCA or IFRS certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with AI tools.
• Experience with large corporate systems, particularly SAP or MS BC.
• Ability to analyze economic events from various perspectives, including accounting, taxation, and cash flow impacts.
