About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote Computer Vision Engineer to join our innovative team at Scanifly. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in computer vision to develop cutting-edge solutions that drive the clean energy transition. As a Remote Computer Vision Engineer, you will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to create impactful applications that enhance the efficiency and safety of energy projects.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement computer vision solutions for real-world applications.
• Utilize Python and C++ along with frameworks such as OpenCV and Pytorch.
• Train AI models using custom datasets, focusing on Object Detection, Semantic/Instance Segmentation, and Splats.
• Engage in Structure-from-Motion, 3D Reconstruction, and Photogrammetry tasks.
• Process Pointcloud and Mesh data effectively.
• Work with Geospatial Data and Visual-Inertial SLAM technologies.
• Deploy applications on cloud platforms while ensuring scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• Professional experience in developing computer vision applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python and C++, with hands-on experience in OpenCV and Pytorch.
• Familiarity with foundational AI models for computer vision.
• Experience with Microservice architecture, APIs, and NoSQL databases.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related technical field is preferred.

• Experience in deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of advanced computer vision techniques.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
