Fire Safety Officer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Fire Safety Officer to join our team at Vaillant Group. As a Fire Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining fire safety protocols and standards across our locations.

What You'll Do

• Act as the Fire Safety Officer for our Remscheid location, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal guidelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and fire hazard analyses in collaboration with internal departments and external authorities.
• Provide training and guidance to employees to foster a strong culture of fire prevention and safety awareness.
• Maintain and update essential documents such as fire plans, evacuation routes, and fire safety regulations.
• Coordinate audits, certifications, and inspections with interdisciplinary teams to ensure successful outcomes.
• Manage small construction and modernization projects related to fire safety, including budgeting and contractor oversight.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Safety, Security Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in preventive and organizational fire safety.
• Strong analytical and structured working style, with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CAD systems is preferred.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

• Experience in managing construction or modernization projects.
• Knowledge of developing technical or organizational standards in fire safety.
