Senior Fund Accountant - Remote Opportunity

What You'll Do

• Manage treasury functions including reconciliations, cash reporting, and disbursements.
• Post journal entries and support quarterly reporting cycles to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
• Handle capital calls, distributions, and respond to investor inquiries with professionalism.
• Collaborate with clients and teammates to deliver excellence and maintain high standards.
• Review and maintain SOC-1 internal control procedures to ensure operational integrity.
• Oversee the weekly maintenance of an internal client deliverable schedule to meet deadlines.
• Utilize your expertise to provide educated proposals and timelines for deliverables, driving teams and clients towards success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, demonstrating proficiency in fund accounting.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to support financial reporting and compliance.

Nice to Have

• Experience with financial software or accounting systems.
• Knowledge of international accounting standards.
• Previous experience in a fund administration environment.
