Regional Market Access Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Regional Market Access Manager to join our team at Abbott. This remote position allows you to contribute to our mission of improving health outcomes for individuals with diabetes. As a Regional Market Access Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing relationships with regional health insurers and stakeholders, ensuring optimal reimbursement for our innovative FreeStyle Libre products.

What You'll Do

• Develop strategic account plans for key clients to ensure effective reimbursement of our products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and medical to implement these plans.
• Build and maintain strong networks with decision-makers in the healthcare sector.
• Lead the development of partnerships with health insurers and oversee regional healthcare projects.
• Conduct thorough market analysis to inform strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
• Provide training and support to sales teams regarding reimbursement processes and health system navigation.
• Negotiate contracts with health insurers, ensuring favorable terms for our product offerings.
• Monitor and report on the success of reimbursement strategies and adjust as necessary.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business, Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in market access or health economics.
• Proven track record in managing relationships with health insurers and stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• Excellent understanding of the German healthcare system and statutory health insurance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
• Fluent in German and English.

Nice to Have

• Experience in diabetes care or related therapeutic areas.
• Additional qualifications in health policy or economics.
• Familiarity with digital health solutions.
