Messaging Operations Specialist - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Messaging Operations Specialist to join our team at Braze. This remote position offers you the chance to work with a passionate team dedicated to enhancing customer engagement through innovative messaging solutions. You will play a crucial role in streamlining our messaging onboarding experience across various channels, including SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, and Email.

What You'll Do

  • Configure customers’ messaging channel capabilities, including SMS code procurement globally.
  • Collaborate with messaging aggregators to ensure timely delivery of codes and manage code inventory.
  • Conduct recurrent meetings with messaging aggregators to stay updated on deliverability and marketing changes.
  • Guide customers and internal stakeholders through the SMS setup process, ensuring compliance with market requirements.
  • Maintain and update documentation, including best practices and compliance playbooks.
  • Identify, measure, and monitor operational issues to enhance workflows and automation.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders regarding provisioning.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives critical to scaling our fast-growing team.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in an operational or customer support role, preferably in a SaaS or marketing automation environment.
  • Familiarity with SMS and email channels is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Desire to embrace automation and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with tools like Looker, Salesforce, or the Braze ecosystem is a bonus.
