Quality Engineer - Remote Opportunities Available

About the Role

Join North American Lighting, Inc. as a Quality Engineer and explore exciting remote opportunities in the automotive manufacturing sector. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our products while working in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare advanced quality planning documents and participate in quality planning activities, including FMEA’s, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Charts, and Gage R&R and capability studies.
  • Create necessary documentation for customer initial sample submissions, including AQP and customer documents.
  • Travel to customer facilities to participate in all phases of the customer’s launch activities, including component review team meetings and assembly trials.
  • Coordinate the resolution of quality issues and implementation of countermeasures with other NAL departments and suppliers.
  • Perform technical and statistical investigations to ensure product quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with 0 to 2 years of related manufacturing experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer engagements.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with quality control systems and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis tools.
