Senior Project Engineer - Remote Role at Rondo Energy

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Remote to join Rondo Energy's Delivery Team. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate the execution of large-scale thermal energy storage projects, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across teams. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be instrumental in deploying our innovative technology to accelerate industrial decarbonization.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate with commercial and engineering teams to manage early-stage engineering studies, including resource allocation and schedule development.
• Oversee all phases of a project’s technical execution, ensuring designs meet specifications and quality standards.
• Generate preliminary mechanical or process engineering deliverables to assist with early-stage process design.
• Review project deliverables for technical accuracy and alignment with client needs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, clients, and vendors to communicate complex technical subjects clearly.
• Track and report progress on project deliverables to key stakeholders.
• Identify applicable project permits and coordinate the development of associated technical deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or industrial/systems engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering or project engineering.
• Extensive knowledge in project development and delivery of large-scale capital energy/power/infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with engineering & design software such as CAD and MS Project.

Nice to Have

• Experience in renewable energy projects.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in energy sectors.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
