Project Engineer Intern - Remote Construction Management

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team at Artelia. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction management, specifically focusing on off-site construction practices. As a Project Engineer Intern, you will work closely with a team of professionals dedicated to innovative engineering solutions.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the development of project management tools for off-site construction.
• Conduct analysis of the off-site construction sector in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and throughout France.
• Evaluate the impacts of off-site construction on project management, including planning and communication among specialists.
• Help create a comprehensive guide for project managers regarding off-site construction practices.
• Participate in the dissemination and presentation of the guide to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the integration of off-site construction projects within Artelia by researching relevant projects and references.
• Update a portfolio of references and identify key internal and external contacts, including partners in the off-site construction industry.
• Collaborate with your mentor to enhance your skills and knowledge in project management.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in engineering (Bac+5) with a focus on construction or civil engineering.
• Strong teamwork skills, curiosity, and a desire to learn.
• Familiarity with office software tools; proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the region; a valid driver's license is desirable.
