Golang Engineer - Remote Opportunity at Kaiko

About the Role

Join Kaiko as a Golang Engineer and work remotely to develop innovative financial data solutions. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and test new products and systems while improving existing ones, all while utilizing your expertise in Go programming.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs using Go.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA, and other developers, to implement innovative solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to software development best practices.
• Optimize code for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Provide on-call technical support to ensure timely resolution of critical issues and maintain operational continuity.
• Participate in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Go and related technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience developing backend services, data pipelines, and microservices using Go and other programming languages.
• Proficiency in concurrent programming, goroutines, and Go’s built-in data structures.
• Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and query optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience with distributed systems or event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with security best practices in API development.
• Knowledge of the crypto or financial technology industry.
