QA/​QC Engineer - Remote Opportunity in Oil & Gas

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated QA/QC Engineer to join our team in a remote capacity. As a QA/QC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all quality assurance and quality control practices are implemented effectively in accordance with our company’s quality policy. This position offers the opportunity to work within the EPC department, contributing to significant projects in the oil and gas sector.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and assist in the implementation of QA/QC functions, ensuring that all documents and deliverables are managed effectively.
• Execute guidelines and directives for QA/QC aspects to achieve project objectives successfully.
• Monitor and improve QA/QC practices to enhance overall project quality.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department and across the company.
• Communicate timely reports related to QA/QC activities and project progress.
• Implement and actively participate in SHE programs, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure project goals are met efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Construction QA/QC execution, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO standards.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Tools such as TQM, QCC, SPC, and Balance Scorecard.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is an advantage.

Nice to Have

• Certification in Quality Management or related fields.
• Experience in marine construction and plant operation sectors.
