About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Middle & High School English Teacher to join Nord Anglia Education in a remote capacity. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire students in their literary journey while developing their reading, speaking, and comprehension skills.
What You'll Do
- Plan and teach English classes according to the IB and MYP Program curriculum.
- Engage students in meaningful learning experiences that promote critical thinking and inquiry.
- Utilize pedagogic strategies to foster a stimulating learning environment.
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Conferences to discuss student progress.
- Attend school events as indicated by the principal.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in English Literature (literature, writing, and/or composition).
- Knowledge of IB programs, Extended Essay, and Personal Project.
- Native English speaker with at least 3 years of experience teaching at Middle or High School levels.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain class control.
- Experience working with teenagers and lesson planning.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the Project Approach and Reggio Emilia inspiration.
- Experience in international education settings.
