About the Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Legal Intern - Remote at Planned Systems International (PSI). This internship is a fantastic opportunity for law students to gain hands-on experience in the legal field while working remotely. As a Legal Intern, you will support our Legal Department across various aspects of government contracting, employment law, and corporate transactions. You will collaborate closely with attorneys and cross-functional teams, gaining exposure to real-world legal issues.

What You'll Do

• Assist with legal research and issue-spotting related to FAR/DFARS regulations.
• Draft position statements in response to EEOC complaints, honing your legal writing skills.
• Support corporate governance tasks and due diligence for strategic transactions.
• Engage in professional development through interactions with attorneys and senior executives.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to company policies while handling sensitive information.
• Manage multiple assignments effectively while demonstrating attention to detail.
• Participate in discussions regarding government contracting issues, enhancing your understanding of the field.
• Utilize your strong legal research skills to contribute to the team’s success.

Requirements

• Current JD candidate (2L, 3L, or recent graduate) in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school.
• Strong legal research and writing skills are essential for this Legal Intern - Remote position.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.
• High social IQ and temperament for complex situations.
• Professional judgment in handling sensitive information is crucial.
