IT System Engineer - Voice & Unified Communications (Remote)

About the Role

We're hiring an IT System Engineer - Voice & Unified Communications to join our team at Hornbach. As an IT System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless integration of our Unified Communications systems across over 170 markets and multiple logistics locations. This role is essential for maintaining reliable communication and efficient collaboration throughout the organization, 365 days a year.

What You'll Do

• Participate actively in the UCC ecosystem, planning, building, and integrating modern communication solutions across the company.
• Lead the international rollout of new UCC platforms and manage migrations, showcasing your expertise in Unified Communications.
• Create clear and understandable documentation while developing contemporary strategies for effective communication.
• Analyze and resolve issues in the 2nd level support, ensuring stable, fast, and reliable communication systems.
• Engage in monitoring and quality assurance to maintain high standards of service.
• Participate in on-call duty to ensure system availability and uphold our quality standards.

Requirements

• Completed education in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
• Experience with Unified Communications, VoIP, SIP, SBC, or Teams Telephony is essential.
• Strong analytical skills with a structured and service-oriented approach.
• Ability to think critically and maintain a user-focused perspective.
• Passion for innovation and networking within the telecommunications field.

• Experience with cloud-based communication platforms.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure and security protocols.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft).
