About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager - Supply Chain Systems to join our team at Delta Computer Consulting. This role is critical for managing large-scale technology initiatives that enhance service parts procurement, order fulfillment, and warehouse management systems (WMS). As an IT Project Manager, you will lead projects that drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, ensuring that all initiatives are executed successfully. This is an onsite position located in Torrance, CA, and you must be willing to work in this location.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the full project lifecycle from planning and execution through closure, ensuring all project goals are met.
  • Develop comprehensive work plans, schedules, and budgets that align with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate project resources, track progress, and deliver consistent status reports to management.
  • Support requirements analysis, design documentation, and testing activities to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies across projects to minimize disruptions.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure project goals align with enterprise priorities.
  • Prepare and present executive-level updates and documentation to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project meetings, retrospectives, and deliverable reviews to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end IT projects across large-scale systems.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, order fulfillment, and WMS.
  • Familiarity with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), MFT (Managed File Transfer), and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Experience managing Agile or hybrid methodology projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role with a stable work history in large enterprise organizations.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SCM applications such as Blue Yonder.
  • Ability to perform business analysis, requirements gathering, and design documentation.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure and multi-tier architectures.
  • Automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Clarity and Jira/Confluence tools for tracking and documentation.
  • 3+ years of Big 4 consulting experience preferred.
