About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our HR strategies and ensuring a positive employee experience. As an HR Manager, you will oversee various HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance, all while working remotely.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our organizational goals.
  • Manage the recruitment process, from job postings to onboarding new employees.
  • Oversee employee relations and conflict resolution to maintain a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including Belgian Labor Laws.
  • Administer employee benefits, payroll processing, and performance management systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee lifecycle, and HR analytics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Experience in nonprofit advocacy or strategic HR is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Certification in HR management (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • Experience with employee engagement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with legal research and public policy.
