About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Employee Benefits Senior Account Manager to join our team remotely. As an Employee Benefits Senior Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our clients while helping them navigate their employee benefits options. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a growing insurance brokerage firm that values its employees and invests in their success.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the primary contact for assigned accounts, delivering above-standard customer service to clients, producers, and coworkers.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all lines of coverage, including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and carrier representatives, ensuring adherence to administrative guidelines.
  • Evaluate proposals and present the best options to clients, exceeding their expectations with prompt responses to inquiries.
  • Coordinate and conduct carrier/client enrollment meetings, taking initiative and ownership of assigned projects.
  • Stay current with industry trends, legislative changes, and regulatory requirements relevant to employee benefits.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in building strong interpersonal and client relationships, with a focus on customer service.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, agency management software, and databases.
  • Active Life & Health license is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Up to 5 years of benefit experience with a broker or insurance carrier preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with health insurance products and coverages, as well as understanding HIPAA rules and ACA regulations.
