About the Role

We are seeking a skilled DeFi Trader to join our innovative team at GSR. This DeFi Trader remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of decentralized finance, developing and maintaining cutting-edge trading algorithms across various decentralized exchanges and blockchains.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement automated trading algorithms tailored to DeFi venues and blockchains, focusing on liquidity provisioning strategies.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to enhance trading strategies and risk management techniques.
  • Discover, test, and validate new trading patterns and signals through backtesting and performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with quantitative trading and research teams to create robust automated trading solutions.
  • Stay updated on DeFi developments to identify short-term trading opportunities and inform long-term strategies.

Requirements

  • PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a related field.
  • Prior experience with DeFi trading strategies, either professionally or personally.
  • Strong familiarity with decentralized exchanges (DEXs), blockchain fundamentals, and smart contract security.
  • Excellent analytical skills and logical reasoning abilities.
  • Experience in coding to process and analyze large datasets.
  • Proficiency in software development and engineering principles.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with machine learning techniques for trading.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and trading psychology.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Solidity.
