DeFi Success Lead - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a DeFi Success Lead to join Monad Foundation in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal as we aim to expand the impact of decentralized technology through the Monad blockchain. As a DeFi Success Lead, you will be responsible for driving the growth of Monad's DeFi ecosystem. Your mission will be to not only support the protocols that are deploying on our platform but also to enhance their overall value and integration within the ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Own protocol growth end-to-end, developing tailored growth plans with DeFi protocols on Monad.
• Collaborate on liquidity incentive and co-incentive campaign structures, tracking Total Value Locked (TVL) and volume against targets.
• Design and implement strategies for Real-World Assets (RWA) to integrate into DeFi, ensuring they are productive on-chain.
• Manage relationships with tokenized asset issuers, connecting them with appropriate lending protocols and yield vaults.
• Identify cross-protocol opportunities that create compounding value, enhancing liquidity and expanding TVL.
• Engage with institutional capital to facilitate deployment into RWA-backed DeFi products on Monad.
• Provide insights into why certain protocols may not be growing and propose actionable solutions.
• Work autonomously while holding yourself accountable to metrics and protocol success.

Requirements

• Significant experience in DeFi collaborations or ecosystem growth, preferably with a Layer 1 or Layer 2 protocol.
• Proven track record of increasing TVL and user activity within DeFi ecosystems.
• Experience with RWA protocols or tokenization platforms, understanding the mechanics of tokenized assets.
• Strong knowledge of lending markets, AMMs, yield vaults, and liquidity incentives.
• Experience working with institutional counterparts, such as asset managers or family offices.
• Ability to operate with high autonomy and accountability.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a startup environment.
• Familiarity with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and its implications for DeFi.
• Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between DeFi and traditional finance.
