About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join Shift4's dynamic team. This remote Business Development Manager role offers the opportunity to work with a leading company in the FinTech industry, redefining commerce through innovative payment solutions. As a key player in our Business Development team, you will help drive growth and establish valuable partnerships.

What You'll Do

• Become a trusted advisor for each account, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Manage and optimize operational processes for partners and merchants within Shift4.
• Drive sales and business expansion efforts, targeting partner collaborations and e-commerce entities.
• Generate new business opportunities while managing sales processes and negotiating terms.
• Oversee onboarding and integration processes, ensuring smooth transitions for new clients.
• Liaise with business development teams regarding enterprise account challenges and opportunities.
• Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in challenging environments.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in sales/business development within the e-commerce/online payment industry.
• Deep understanding of the credit card acquisition process and online payments landscape.
• Experience in a global or multinational business environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical abilities.
• Autonomous self-starter with exemplary negotiation and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in Business English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
