About the Role

Join Binance as an AI/ML Talent in our Accelerator Program, where you will gain hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving Web3 space. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects involving advanced algorithms for KYC and KYB products. As an AI/ML talent, you'll collaborate with a team of experts to tackle real-world challenges in identity verification and fraud detection.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and optimize algorithms for KYC/KYB processes, including Optical Character Recognition (OCR), face recognition, and document tampering detection.
  • Apply traditional deep learning techniques to improve model accuracy and efficiency in image processing and analysis.
  • Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance algorithm capabilities, integrating multimodal AI for better document understanding.
  • Conduct experiments, analyze data, and iterate on models to ensure robustness and scalability in production environments.
  • Assist in research and development of new features to strengthen Binance’s compliance and security frameworks.
  • Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a PhD program (or equivalent advanced degree) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field at a top university.
  • Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Experience or coursework in computer vision, including techniques for image processing, object detection, or facial recognition is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with LLMs and their applications in multimodal tasks is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in data processing libraries (e.g., OpenCV, NumPy, Pandas).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Passion for blockchain, fintech, or AI ethics is a bonus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance.
  • Previous internship or project experience in AI/ML.
